About 6 kilometers from the area is the Hindu University of Varanasi which is worth visiting as it has sites such as the amazing New Vishwanath Temple, and it is also relaxing to watch people meditate, do yoga or rest in its large and beautiful gardens.Another place outside the area but easy to access is Sarnath, where it is said that Buddha gave his first discourse after reaching enlightenment in Bodhgaya.
